PeopleTec is currently seeking a Capabilities Development and Integration Cell (CDI Cell) Facility Security Manager to support our El Paso, TX (Fort Bliss) location.

Candidate will perform the roles and responsibilities as a "Facility Security Manager Alternate" reporting to the Department of the Army Civilian (DAC) Facility Security Manager (FSM) for a United States Department of Defense Facility. This position will oversee and direct all required security-related supporting functions, on behalf of the DAC FSM, relating to the Facility's standing Physical Security Programs, Operational Security Programs, Anti-Terrorism Prevention Programs, and implement a Security Training Program that trains and prepares the Facility's Security Staff Members and Operations Staff Members on all matters related to Security, to include the proper protection of classified materials, on behalf of the Customer.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government DoD Regulations, Policies and Directives
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Ability to interact appropriately with the public, when necessary
  • Ability to adhere to workplace rules
  • Ability to present Security-related process to a large group before supported events 
  • Experience working within DoD related programs
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Experience reviewing and implement DoD Security Doctrine Oversee the day-to-day functions of the customer's Facility Administrative / Security Assistants 
  • Travel: 0% unless training requirement
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.


Education Requirements:

6+ years of experience managing day-to-day security activities in a classified government facility is required. 

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Desired Skills:

  • CPP or PSP certification 
  • Bachelor's Degree
