PeopleTec is currently seeking a Training Developer to support our Fort Gordon, GA location.

The Training Developer associated with this effort shall develop products in accordance with (IAW) Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Regulation 350-70, TR PAM 350-70 Series (1-16) and all applicable regulations, Cyber School Training Development Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Higher Headquarters Guidance. In developing products, the training developers shall plan, organize, and carry out special studies, analysis and evaluations effecting resident and nonresident training. These requirements are used to enhance the use of current and emerging technologies in all three Army training domains (institutional, operational and self-development). CMEs shall provide specialized advice on training analysis, design, development, implementation and/or evaluation (ADDIE) process. The material developed shall facilitate adult learning through modern training techniques and methodologies.

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Training Developer or institutional, operational and self-development training and a minimum 3+ of years experience developing and designing full-length skill-based instructional training material, and experience writing lesson plans using the Adult Learning Model or Experiential Learning Model.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience utilizing the Training Development Capabilities (TDC) database, or similar system, used for constructing learning and resource products.
  • Possess skills/knowledge of performing office automation work that includes word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications; typing a variety of materials from rough draft into final form including narrative and tabular material, e.g., correspondence, reports, and forms; maintaining records, historical records, survey results, reference library of training catalogs, regulations and other miscellaneous publications; establishing and maintaining office functional files and reference files; knowledge management applications e.g., Training Development Capabilities (TDC) SharePoint, Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), and Blackboard.
  • Possess advanced writing skills (e.g. tailoring content and delivery for different audiences using Bloom's Taxonomy).
  • Graduated the Common Faculty Development-Developers Course (CFD-DC) or Systems Approach to Training (SAT), Training Development Capability (TDC) Course, or meet the requirements to attend required training within 60 days of contract start date.
  • Travel: 50%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Training Developer or institutional, operational and self-development training.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience developing and designing full-length skill-based instructional training material, and experience writing lesson plans using the Adult Learning Model or Experiential Learning Model Minimum 1+ year experience utilizing the Training Development Capabilities (TDC) database, or similar system, used for constructing learning and resource products.

 

Desired Skills:
