PeopleTec is currently seeking a Military Operations Analyst support our Colorado Springs, CO (Peterson AFB) location.

Provides executive-level military planning and analysis, high level staff coordination work, deliberate and crisis action planning, exercise support, Integrated Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) support and satellite transmission engineering support for the USASMDC/ARSTRAT G32 Office. Provides executive-level staff production and product support to the Command as directed by the TO Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Assists with operational planning that is briefed to Department of the Army (DA) Army Special Programs Directorate (ASPD), DA G3/5/7 (DAMO-ODG), Offices of the Secretary of Defense and other organizations as necessary. Attends briefings for the government, presents approved G32 positions, and provides meeting support (e.g., creates Power Point slides, presentations, meeting minutes, etc.). Performs staff actions (e.g., executes Form 5 staff coordination, getting O-6 level approvals from multiple staff sections on actions going to the 3 star and higher levels, etc.). Writes Army Approval Plans (AAPs) for classified training and testing events. Works directly with G-staff personnel at the O-6 and higher levels, to include briefings, coordination, and synchronization actions. Monitors, directs, and coordinates projects concerning counter space and missile defense activities. Provides expert knowledge of U.S. and non-U.S. counter space and missile defense organizations, tools, and processes, including their organizational structures, roles, missions, and functions in order to plan and develop Army space requirements, employment, protection requirements, training, and concept of operations into all facets of USSTRATCOM, SMDC/ARSTRAT, and Brigade-level operations where appropriate.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5 years of military experience or experience in military operations, mission planning, and exercise support.
  • Experience in technical planning, operational planning, and management of advanced capabilities, management of other highly technical personnel, and integration of emerging technologies.
  • Budgeting experience and other life cycle planning and implementation of complex special projects for present and future mission systems and requirements.
  • Travel: 25%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.


Education Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field, OR 5-10 years of applicable experience is required. 


Desired Skills:

Experience in Special Technical Operations, Integrated Special Technical Operations.
