PeopleTec is currently seeking a Site Lead to support our Washington, DC location. 

PeopleTec, a 100% employee owned company, is currently seeking a Site Lead to provide support to the Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). The contractor function is to provide operations support to the JADOC Battle Management, Command Control, Computers and Communications (BMC4) equipment, and maintain the Ground Circuit Initiative (GCI) network to include software and link connectivity. This includes Network Administration, Network Management, Hardware/Network Integration, Network Configuration and System Administration, and Multi Data Link support. 

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Provide technical and project leadership at JADOC in NCR at JBAB for contractor support team.
  • Supervise/manage contractor personnel in performance of their JADOC duties.
  • Site Lead plans and directs all contractor support activities and ensures personnel are performing up to technical standards thereby providing quality assurance of all work.
  • Perform all scheduling for both day staff and shift personnel providing 365/24/7 support. 
  • Responsible to ensure all shifts are covered with no gaps in service.
  • Responsible for adjusting shift schedule when personnel absences occur.
  • Responsible for maintaining operational availability of system.
  • Ensure system is operating nominally.
  • Ensure fixes are made to system within contract required timelines if a problem occurs.
  • Assist with selection, coordination, and management of third party vendors for various projects in support of system maintenance and development.
  • Perform as POC interfacing with Government liaison.
  • Ensure all requests and guidance from Gov't liaison are satisfied.
  • Ensure proper coordination with NCR-IADS Contracting Officer Representative.
  • Responsible for ensuring training and certifications are maintained, e.g., network certifications (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc) and climbing certifications. Also, ensure all personnel are properly equipped for tower climbing.
  • Coordinate Task Force assets needed for project support via Government liaison.
  • Coordinate use of contractor provided vehicle.
  • Assist in performance evaluations for each staff member.
  • Assess performance and provide written information as part of annual performance evaluation process.
  • Responsible for all travel approvals IAW contract requirements.
  • Responsible for all ODC purchases IAW contract requirements.
  • Duty hours may require shift work to include weekends.
  • Travel: ~10%

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work.  Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.  Position may require a U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance. 

 

Educational/Certification Requirements:

  • A completed Bachelors Degree in related field and 3-10 years of military data link / operations experience.
  • Military experience is highly desired. May be substituted for degree requirements.

 

Physical Job Requirements:

May require limited tower climbing (stairs or elevator access).

 

Desired Skills:

  • Military experience is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of joint data link BMC4 systems associated NCR-IADS, including: Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD); Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI); Air and Missile Defense Work Station (AMDWS); Multi-Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT); National Advanced Surface Air Missile System (NASAMS), US Army Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD), including Avenger Weapons System; Joint Range Extension (JRE); and, Joint Multi-Data Links (TADIL A, B, J, and SADL and MIDS radio).
  • IAM Level II and/or IAT Level II certification.
